Not a vacation.
Not a workshop.
A reset.

Mizata by Antiresort sits on three acres of Pacific coastline in El Salvador — thatched tree houses over the jungle, an infinity pool above the waves, two open-air yoga shalas with nothing but ocean in front of you.

This is where Daniel Silva and Kata Bilanchone are bringing O2Flo in March 2027. Twelve people. Five full days. Breathwork and movement every morning, yoga in the oceanfront shala, cold plunge, horses on the beach, fire, and a waterfall excursion. The kind of week that rewires you at the nervous system level — not just the mindset level.

The Venue

Mizata by Antiresort —
the anti-resort.

Nestled on the shores of Playa Mizata, this property sits on sacred land once home to the Náhuat people and a colonial fishing village. Three acres of Pacific oceanfront. Tree houses in the jungle canopy. Two open-air yoga shalas overlooking the surf.

Since 2017, Mizata has hosted transformative retreats for healers, athletes, and communities seeking something the standard resort can't offer. It's been recognized as one of the New York Times' 52 Places to Go in 2024, featured in Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and National Geographic Traveler. The property earns those mentions by being the real thing.

El Salvador is one of the safest countries in Central America, with direct U.S. flights of 2–5 hours. March brings dry-season sunshine and perfect Pacific conditions.

Your primary dining venue for the retreat. Fresh, health-conscious à la carte cuisine right on the ocean — organic, locally sourced, with vegan, gluten-free, and paleo options. Seafood comes directly from local fishermen. The vibe on weekends is electric — music, energy, community meals under the palapa with waves breaking ten meters away.

Your meal plan covers two meals per day for the first four days, plus a fruit and juice breakfast on departure morning.

Ishwi Omakase

5-Star Dining · Michelin-Trained Chef

Ishwi is named after the Náhuat word for "satiation through food." Kata Bilanchone

500-Hour Vinyasa Ashtanga · Co-Founder, Hanu Yoga Studio · 200-Hour Teacher Trainer · 10+ Years Teaching

Kata fell fiercely in love with Yoga Philosophy when she was first exposed to it in a college course. So moved by Eastern Philosophy that she switched her degree to Religious Studies — with an emphasis on Hinduism — she then studied abroad in India, living amongst the Jains and fully immersing herself in temple life.

At 21 she became a certified yoga instructor and soon after completed a year-long Master Apprenticeship — a 500-Hour Vinyasa Ashtanga Certification. Over the years she has led retreats across Greece, Morocco, Mexico, and beyond. With over a decade of experience she is now a teacher of teachers, leading 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Certifications where she passes down the sacred practice that changed her life.

A long-time gymnast, Kata brings an exceptional eye for alignment and anatomy to every class. She sold her own yoga studio to return to what she loves most: teaching, and connecting with her students.

Before You Book

Common questions.

Do I need prior breathwork experience?

None whatsoever. Sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are. First-timers often have the deepest breakthroughs because there's nothing to unlearn. If you can breathe, you're qualified.

What airport do I fly into?

San Salvador International Airport — SAL, also known as Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero International. Group shuttle transfers are included. You'll coordinate your arrival time with us after booking to ensure everyone travels together on the Mizata shuttle.

I'm traveling solo — is that common?

Very common. Solo travelers are welcome and this is exactly the kind of group retreat where you connect with 11 other people who chose to show up for the same week. All rooms are configured with king beds — they cannot be separated into two singles.

What's the room selection process?

Rooms are first-come, first-served. When you secure your spot, you choose from what's still available. The four room types range from Beach Tree Houses (ocean views, elevated) to Jungle Bungalows (more private, garden-facing). All share the same Mizata amenities.

What meals are provided?

Two meals per day through the Nawi Beach House for the first four days of the retreat. On departure morning, a fruit and juice bar breakfast is included. The menu is organic, locally sourced, with vegan, gluten-free, and paleo options. Any dietary restrictions are handled in advance by the retreat management team.

Is El Salvador safe to travel to?

El Salvador has undergone one of the most dramatic safety transformations in the region since 2022 — it's now recognized as one of the safest countries in Central America. Mizata's own property is private, gated, and staffed around the clock. The retreat management team handles all ground transportation, so you're never navigating independently unless you choose to.

What's not included in the retreat price?

International flights, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, and personal purchases during excursions are not included. All experiences, meals, transfers, and lodging listed on this page are covered. Optional add-ons like Ishwi Omakase, Thrivelab Clinic, massages, and additional excursions are available at an extra cost.

How many spots are there?

12. Hard cap. The property and the experience are designed for a group this size — it allows real connection and genuine practice without a crowd. When those 12 spots fill, they're gone. There's no waitlist.
